My Kindle ebook is now available! Formatting everything in it was a pain, I can tell you that much. Doing so was bad enough when I had bought the necessary software, formatting without it was a complete disaster. It took me a long time to realise I needed a more modern version of Microsoft to create my project. It was required because it has additional, apparently vital features. However, when you compare old programs with newer ones, the layouts are sometimes different. Therefore, I was surely justified in trying to find certain gadgets that were illusive, and that Youtube couldn't help me with. Right?

So, I wasted a lot of my time? Maybe a couple of hours, or so. But that didn’t matter. Why? As you may have guessed, I was listening to music at the time. One of the more ‘interesting’ artists I listened to, was Joe Stump. That guy is funny. Not only does he rip off ALL of Yngwie Malmsteen’s trademarks, such as super scalic neoclassical style solos and middle eastern concepts, both occasionally mixed with blues rock ideas, he also uses the same guitars and amplifiers. Best of all, his logo is in the same font. Well, sometimes, anyway, his emblem style depends on his musical era. All of this explains why his reviews from allmusic.com are less than favourable. His debut album got just one and a half stars, which is understandable, but to be fair, his music is actually pretty good, if not better than Yngwie’s, a lot of the time. But come on. How about borrowing ideas from someone else?

The highlight of the last few days, wasn’t the music I listened to, though. It was the moment my query about my Kindle book was answered. I asked if I had built my chapter list correctly, so it would work on a tablet. Not only was I told my chapters were functioning, I was told they were working ‘perfectly’. Success! Ok, they could only either work perfectly, or not at all, but it was still a good feeling to hear such positive news. It was such a good feeling, in fact, that I’ve marked my congratulatory email as ‘unread’. This is so I can find it easily the next time I’m feeling technophobic and need a confidence boost. Such self-encouragement is particularly useful, after the one and a half hour phone call to a computer company, not long ago. I know it shouldn’t have been so long. We both know.

And on that brief note, I’ll end here. I’m now going to have another chat with myself, and post it. Yes, you may have noticed I’ve added an interview section to my site. If you’ve read my first entry, you may have spotted that it wasn’t too crazy. The next one I will be submitting, will be a little more… surreal. Eyb!
