Intriguing New Meds (Blog 137)

In a blog I wrote a while ago, I discussed my unusual peeing habits. Yes, despite the fact my bodliy sugar levels are apparently fine, (even though a blood test showed they are a bit higher than normal, this morning) I’m still whizzing like crazy. That’s probably nothing to worry about, it’s just annoying. However, I’m going to the doctor about that later today, anyway. I’m also going there because not all is well with my poos, either. After doing a bit of googling, it seems I have symptoms consistent with irritable bowel syndrome, which isn’t life threatening, but it is a lifelong condition. It’s a bit sad to know that I may never poo normally again. It’s the small things you miss isn’t it? On the plus side, I think bowel cancer is unlikely. I’m being serious when I say my dogs would have picked the disease up if I had it, because they can smell it. I’m sure they would bark at me sadly if I was dying. Anyway, I’ll follow this blog up when I come back from my appointment. Right now, I’m going to work on another short story which as always, is pretty crazy. :O

Oh joy! I’m back from the doctor’s and would you believe that both my dodgy poos AND my excessive whizz are most likely caused by simple constipation?? Who’s ever heard of strange pee being a symptom of the condition? I know I haven’t. Not only that, my blood sugar levels have been proven to be much lower and even admirable by my peepee samples, which is just one more reason why I should treat myself to a delicious hot chocolate and large chocolate coin in Staines, tomorrow. I also don’t have kidney stones, messed up liver, or any kind of infection! How about that. I’m also glad I don’t have cancer. As explained, I knew I most likely wasn’t cancerous but if I was, making THAT funny would be next to impossible. You know what, because I’m completely fine, while I’m in the town, I think I’ll pick up Rammstein’s new album in HMV if they have it, to really celebrate. I heard one track from the group on Youtube which I thought was a bit similar to a song in their album ‘Rosenrot’, but as the album got a very respectable 4 stars on Allmusic.com, I’ll put my faith in the band. Hopefully my previous opinion of self-plagiarism will turn out to be very foolish or at least, mostly unfair.

I’m back from Staines! I thought the mini day out would have to be cancelled as my liquified medication taken yesterday night whilst very effective in that I’m now not needing to tinkle constantly, did make me rather dizzy for a while, this morning. I found the simple act of walking straight somewhat difficult for around three hours, but after that it was back to business and very real fears of being arrested for drink driving left me. Even though I was told to take my meds before I go to bed, maybe I should bend the rules a tiny bit and consume them a couple of hours or so before that. I’ll see if that helps. Anywho, I’m now playing my new Rammstein album. Annoyingly, the so called ‘special edition packaging’ or whatever is DVD sized, meaning it doesn’t fit along with my other CDs in my collection. However, I’ve come up with a neat little trick: As there is a small gap above each row of my CDs, I can place my new purchase lengthways above them. That actually looks pretty cool. Perhaps what is worse is the mostly pure white container. When I listen to the music I now kind of picture white constantly in my mind, (like a mild form of synesthesia) and it’s not exactly my favourite colour. It would be good if the cover art was all black, but I’ll get over it. And….. Bye!
