Hives! (Blog 510)

For the last three weeks or so, I’ve had hives on my body and apparently they can be caused by stress… But I’m always stressed!!… I updated my computer a few days ago and am relieved to get that out of the way, so maybe the hives will go away? No, because the update is very often followed by a mini update!!! I read that hot baths can cause hives, so I tried a cool bath. Nope, I’m not doing that again, I didn’t like that very much at all. On the plus side though, I did get a bee joke out of the situation, that being ‘Why did the bee live in his own rash? It was a bee hive’. Another plus is my rashes don’t itch. Maybe they’re not hives then? Maybe it’s sunburn? No, I don’t walk around in public without my shirt and in weather around 15 degrees Celsius. If I did though, I probably would get sunburned. Some of my rashes aren’t bullseye rashes in the traditional sense, more like very stretched ovals. Is that still a bullseye rash? Maybe a rash known as a ‘vandalised bullseye rash’? Probably not. And who vandalises dart boards so they are more stretched than usual? Get a life.
Now that I think of it, I shouldn’t be worried about bullseye rashes as I’m fairly sure there are no ticks in my bedroom, where I spend most of the time. If there were, I would need far more than a simple tidy, I’d need special chemicals and clothing resembling a space suit. Yeah, THAT would be a messy bedroom. Do the people at the gym carry ticks? Well, there is a sign in the place which essentially says ‘no smelly people’, so people covered in mud from head to toe and carrying parasites probably wouldn’t be let inside the building. So I think we can rule that theory out. Papa John’s do NOT put ticks in pizzas. Again, another theory to be ruled out. Luckily, some of my rashes appear to be fading very slowly, much like my trust in Apple’s team in charge of updates. Well I don’t dislike the company really, actually my last update when very well! I updated my computer a couple of hours or so before going to bed, updated again for whatever reason, went to bed again and that was that! Not bad, Apple! Not perfect, but a solid B plus!
Well I say the download went well, now I have to use my mobile to get access to my email accounts and my recommended Youtube videos have gone, which is annoying. I tried searching for my various favourite Youtubers in the hope of getting my recommended vids back and it hasn’t worked. ‘Ooh, what have you got for me this time, Youtube?’ Nothing at all! I have a problem with Gmail too, as there is an option I can tick that removes the need of a mobile to log in and it doesn’t seem to do anything. I don’t want Apple and Gmail to take what I just said too seriously though, as I’m sure they would jump at the chance of releasing another update to sort that stuff out. Forget it, it doesn’t really matter! I’ll tell you who can update things, though - Papa John’s, they’ve updated their menu! I am very much looking forward to their new ham and special cheese pizza! I love pizza so much I wouldn’t even mind using my phone to log into the company’s site! Why the site would have the need to delete my Youtube history on the other hand, I have no idea. That sounds sinister, but to be clear, I can’t see that ever happening. And on that hungry note… Bye!
