Big Brother! (Blog 405)

TV program Big Brother has ended! I always wanted to see what would happen in the show, so I tuned in almost every day, but it was mostly people shouting. I was hoping that maybe someone would snap and throw his shoes at someone else over and over again, their drink, etc. but it never happened, so I consider watching the show a bit of a waste of time. Now when relaxing, I can indulge in my slightly more wholesome hobby that is watching Youtube videos of my choice. I could pretty much watch anything in the world, but yeah a lot of what I watch is just people eating. I couldn’t watch that kind of stuff for an HOUR, like the BB show was, but after maybe 10 minutes or so I can watch something else, for example someone playing video games, (and someone drinking). Badlandschugs can drink a lot and very fast, it really is recommended viewing!

Who did I think was going to win? I’ll tell you who I thought wouldn’t win, I was thinking Henry could never win as he has enough money already, he just has one of those faces, and I was right, he explained how well off he was. However, winner Jordan surely has enough money too! He’s a lawyer isn’t he? If he’s not payed a lot, he must be rubbish. He said he was just there for the experience and he wasn’t playing any games/after the prize money, but if that were true, he would have clearly explained how well off HE was so there was no ambiguity. I’m just saying I only found out he was a lawyer after he won, so if he did explain what his occupation was in the house, he should have been clearer and mentioned it repeatedly, and lawyers should be good at clearly explaining things.

Not only that, only a madman would say he doesn’t sound posh, and all posh people are rich, that’s how it works. Ever seen a posh tramp? Because I haven’t. Out of all the accents in the whole world, I’d even say he had the very poshest, it’s ridiculous. Moving on, I often jammed along to the Big Brother theme on my guitar, and it’s in E flat minor. I wonder why that is, it is a bit weird with all the flats in the key signature, but the 4/4 time is very standard though. If it was in 13/16 for example, something strange would be going on, it would be like the composer was showing off. Did you know the Terminator theme is in 13/16? Something funny may be going on there, but I guess it sounds good, so maybe the composer simply thought it sounded cool as well. But a lesser composer would be showing off with such a time signature, try tapping your foot to it, it’s next to impossible.

Moving on again, I’ve finished reviewing for Metal Rules, and there was one time where I compared pretty much every song a band came up with to a mixture of other songs/bands, which I’m sure will cause a lot of annoyance. Oh, you thought your music is original? Nope, check out the comparisons I made on Youtube and get your act together. Changing the subject for the last time, I saw an advert saying ‘We are 8’. I’m just saying when I hear those words, I think it means ‘we are 8 years old’ because that’s how the phrase has always been used beforehand in my experience, anyway. In fact, my association with the age is so strong, I’ve now forgotten the message the advert was trying to convey. :( (But I do know it has nothing to do with celebrating children! Actually I don't).
