What do you think of when you see a cookie? (A biscuit?) Harmless fun? Nothing more than a tasty treat? Like a shocking BBC documentary, Bad Medicine’s American video ‘Death of a Cookie Saleswoman’ will open your eyes. After watching it, all you’ll see when looking at the snacks is pain, lies and disappointment. And they’re not even good for you. Can you imagine marketing a product like that? An obvious advertising disaster, which is probably why you almost certainly haven’t seen the video in question before. It has been swept under the rug. Like a Russian spy who has gone bad (from a Russian perspective or good from an English perspective - trippy, right?) and has decided to hand secrets to the friendly, wise Brits, I have done something just as admirable, if not more so, and spread the word about cookies. (Biscuits).
Having said that, Bad Medicine's damning revelations about the cookie (biscuit!! -_-) trade are only coming from one woman. Is she to be trusted? I don’t know. She holds biscuits (cookies) like cigarettes and coughs up when she eats them. Is she ‘all there’? After just a few minutes of writing, I think it’s time for me to make an apology: The cookie trade is NOT evil, the ‘whistleblower’ has lost her mind. I get that, I just don’t believe her. However, I’m not going to delete my prior writing. Why? Because I want to document how easy it is to fall for conspiracy theories. Similarly, it may logical, but the world is NOT flat. All those books read, all those meetings attended, and for what? I’ll tell you: Me getting laughed at. On another note, here’s Bad Medicine’s video that I’ve decided won my Facebook competition!
Now to change the subject as I like to do: To see if I was making an impact in the world of blogging, after mentioning a song, I checked on Youtube if the tune in question had a spike in hits because of me. I noted the hits it had before and after I ‘promoted’ it. On first inspection, it had 43,251 listens! ‘So what?’ So what?? Have a look at that number again… See? No? Have another look… Yes, that’s right, a five digit number consisting of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Pretty special. Definitely worth writing about. Anyway, I did check later if there was a spike, but I really don’t know. The video gets lots of views anyway, so… Anyway, that’s all from me! Byeeeee!
Oh, no; a little over 400 words? Is that all? We can’t have that, even though that last paragraph was pure gold. I guess it’s time to change the subject, again. We’ve all had paper cuts in our lives, yet how many of us have heard songs about paper? You see what I mean? ‘Cut’ can also mean a piece of music. Isn’t that confusing to you? It is to me. Which is why I think ‘paper wound’ is a better phrase to use. Ok, that will do. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
