Comedy Contest 49! (Blog 279)

Naz Osmanoglu is this month’s winner! He’s the king! No, really, he is related to Turkish royalty. How about that? How did I know that? I don’t know just a random fact, I guess. Nothing sinister. For this blog, I won’t be giving a direct link to the winning video because I don’t know where it is or even if there is one. You can easily find the video on his Twitter page, so I’ve copied the link for that, below. I’m not going to ask Naz for anything again, as it could look like I’m stalking him, and to be fair I am a little bit, both intentionally and not so intentionally. By that I mean, as I tried to find the vid’s link, I clicked on a load of share buttons by accident and I don’t know what happened afterwards. It’s possible I’ve distributed the link five or six times in fact, to all sorts of people, many if them I don’t even know. THAT would look like stalking if I get found out. Making things worse, I asked if I could work with him a few years ago, despite the fact I’ve never even met him. It’s not looking good, is it? On another note, his Youtube stuff is definitely worth checking out, too. Whoops, I’ve done it again. And now that I think of it, as I’ve been typing this up, I’ve had the guy’s Twitter page on in the background for a LONG time. I don’t know if that’s been recorded, but if it has… Oh no.

What happens in the video? Well, a customer trying to buy some beer, filled out an online form and said his email address was ‘bob@bobmail.bob’. We’ve all said our address was at least something like that at some point in our lives, right? So it’s a fake address? Not to worry, you can give your real phone number. ‘12345’? Oh, that’s fake, too. Still though, surely harmless right? Well, no. The person receiving such nonsense took it VERY badly, repeated the information angrily and like it was logical at first, and then shouted ‘You slippery (expletive)!’ I don’t know why I found that very funny. Maybe because the addresses could never be believed by anyone over the age of 5, maybe because Naz is just so funny. I could watch him all day. Aaargh! It’s happening again! On the plus side I don’t want to harm him or anything. You do get stalkers who are so obsessive they become dangerous, which is something I don’t understand. Such people don’t sound like they like whoever they follow, to me. I mean who thinks to themselves ‘This person is AWESOME. Let’s kill him’? Anyway, check out the link below!

Now let’s change the subject! If only I could, I keep thinking about Naz Os… No, I’m going to stop myself there. This blog is just getting creepy. Maybe it got creepy years ago, when I started going on and on about me going crazy, but I’m going to show the comedian this writing, and I’m genuinely hoping for a good reaction. Yes, I’ve done another contest with only one person in it, meaning the sense of achievement Naz will feel will be extremely low, in the worse case scenario, he will feel violated, but to be clear, I honestly have good intentions. Anyway, let’s change the subject! Ok, it’s been a while, and I still can’t think of anything else to say. Personally, I think Naz should take that as a compliment. Are my fixatoins getting worse? Maybe. BUT I still don’t want to harm him. Maybe one day I’ll ‘take it to the next level’, but I can’t see that happening right now. Nope, I can’t see that ever happening. :) (Don’t be violated). Bye!
