A new one man contest! Do I need to explain why there aren’t two or more acts, again? Probably not, so let’s go! I’m sure many of us have seen videos on Youtube on how to deal with narcissists. This month’s winner Matt Jones, has his own take on such videos which is somewhat more extreme, cold, and even narcissistic, which is intriguing. He says ‘How do you deal with a narcissist? You kill them.’ I see. Surely only people with antisocial personality disorder would kill someone? Personally, I think that disorder is worse. Oh wow, we could all live in a world of murderers who aren’t arrogant. Great! Clearly I’ve taken offence to this sketch, but let’s face it, it IS Funny. Personally I think dealing with such people is fairly easy, though. If you’re nice to them, they agree, if you’re not nice to them, they think it’s your problem and they ignore you. Is that really so bad? Makes you wonder why people have the need to watch hour long videos on the matter. Anyway, check out his video, below!

Still on the subject of narcissism, as I couldn’t think of a way to bulk this blog up with those repetitive contest explanations, (now I’m going to repeat myself in other ways) why do there seem to be a disproportionately large amount of videos against NPD, when people with APD rob and kill you, people with borderline personality (let’s face it) are mental, people with paranoid personality take offence to EVERYTHING, people with schizotypal personality disorder are freaks, and people with schizoid personality want you to go away? (If you found that offensive, you may take comfort in the fact I perhaps have a combination of those conditions. :D So it’s ok). ‘Oh no! Narcissists!’ It just seems unfair to me. In a ‘perfect world’ where all narcissists never existed, you do realise basically all musicians would never have been around? All you’d get would be bored people tapping desks with their fingers, and bad singing. I’m being serious. You think they hate attention and that their music is a load of rubbish? Then there’s all the TV stars. Would you be happy watching people being considerate to each other all the time? Admit it, you want someone to call someone else an asshole out of or annoyance or boredom.

So, what have we learnt with my blog? I think it’s time for PRO narcissism videos. That will annoy a lot of psychologists I’m sure, and making things even worse, that’s partly the point. Even so, it is definitely worth checking out some of Matt’s other stuff. He’s also looking for financial support for his show, so if everyone could send him £1,000, I’m sure that would be appreciated. Of course it would, Matt is SO likeable and humble. Although, if he’s in need of support, does that make him have dependent personality disorder? There’s no shame in it, such people are often fairly likeable. A bit needy, but who doesn’t like a hug every now and then? Does Matt want a hug from me? I’m too afraid to ask. Maybe I’m avoidant. To sum up, you try going through life with the personality disorders previously simplified by me for sake of ease. Labels like ‘mental’ are tough to have and I know I’ve just now contributed to the problem. Whoops. Errr… Bye!
