Easter Barbecue! (Blog 306)

Before I talk about Easter, I have something embarrassing to say. :( To my extreme annoyance, I found that it’s actually good to be OCD. Yep, all that you’ve been taught about the condition is a lie. I left my car headlights on TWICE in about a week! For a long time, too. Someone rang on my doorbell about it also twice. That’s not cool. My old school teacher used to say ‘once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, but THREE times…???’ Three times what? I never knew. Is it good? Maybe I should leave my headlights on again, to find out. Maybe I’d win money. All I could tell from her tone of voice was that something dramatic happens. Maybe I’d end up homeless, maybe I’d win the lottery. Death or glory. I just don’t understand HOW that would happen. Have headlights ever made someone homeless, etc.? Surely not. On a lighter note, the date 17/4/2022 is very special in that I’m sure I must have pulled off the most simultaneous hiccup-burps in my life. I must have done around 7 or 8. It may never happen again, though to be fair, I found it’s less of a coincidence and more of a skill. Maybe I just need more practice.
Getting darker again, you wouldn’t believe the amount of chocolate I bought for Easter on Saturday. I really wasn’t thinking straight. It’s just that I was shopping with my dad, and consequently didn’t have to pay for anything. I really went overkill. I now know not everyone in my family could possibly eat so much rubbish in just one or even two days, meaning I’ll have to face the leftovers. Making things more disturbing, tomorrow I’ll have a routine blood test, and it could suggest I’m pre-diabetic or worse. Making things even worse than that, I went shopping AGAIN with my dad, earlier today. Though to be fair, ‘I’ mostly bought healthier fruits and some more mouth wash. (I didn’t need any of the latter, but I realised I left my old cleaning stuff around the house when I was out of it, and my dad wasn’t. He’s genuinely the kind of person who would tamper with it. Maybe he’d put dog hair in it, I don’t know). What else have I done, today, yesterday and on Saturday? Wow. I’ve only been ranking EVERY Deftones song. It’s taken ages, but it will soon be ready.
Now let’s go to the barbecue!…
Ok! Barbecue and most of ‘Give a finger to your dental health’ day over! Wow, did I eat a lot of chocolate. The egg I got from my brother itself was about 1,100 calories, but I also treated myself to some of my dad’s egg, and I had a couple of mini eggs. Then there was the burger and sausage. :S Things aren’t great from an alcohol perspective either. I had a good three small glasses of wine. Funny story, my first glass seemed to just disappear, my second glass I thought disappeared, but it was right in front of me. I’m not mental or anything, it’s just I drank all of it, but the glass decoration made it looked like it was full which confused me. Not a hilarious story, but it did cause mild laughter. But I think mildness is good. You don’t want everyone going nuts in the presence of children. Another funny anecdote was when I saw my mini niece’s toy ridable motorbike. It said it could do I think 157 kph. Not appropriate for such a small and young person I’m sure you agree, so just be careful that’s all I’m saying. If the bike does nought to 60 in a few seconds however, that’s not ok.
What else? Maybe because subconsciously I was feeling a bit girly from hanging around girls, two women and a baby boy for about two hours, I showed my brother a couple of South Park videos. Ahhh, that’s better. It wasn’t exactly sophisticated humour, the first was called ‘Pyjama Day’, which featured a news reporter speaking in a German accent (the funniest accent imo), the second was called Casey Miller, featuring a young boy speaking with an equally funny voice. Having said it’s unsophisticated, I’ve watched both videos dozens of times for my own personal enjoyment. I don’t know why, I know exactly what happens in them (my memory isn’t quite that bad), but again, funny voices. Why not? That was basically the day out. Then everyone went home. (Apart from brother, etc. who already was home). Blog over then! Bye!
