March Tidbits 2 (Blog 242)

Ok, hopefully THESE will be the last tidbits I do. Let’s goooo! I just saw a video on Youtube called ‘Things you should absolutely never eat from KFC’. Come on. There have to SOME good reasons. Try telling that to me when you trip off a cruise ship and get stranded on a desert island. No, sorry, you should NEVER eat it, we’re all going to have to starve. It would be a different story if the fast food was poisonous, but I doubt that. There’s junk food and then there’s murder. I also saw on Youtube someone showing off the sharpest knife in the world, that can cut into tomatoes simply by touching them. Apparently it’s great for cutting really thin slices, but I don’t really know what else it can be used for. I guess someone out there really wants small portions of food. But that’s at the risk of completely mangling himself/bleeding to death. Just eat more for God’s sake. I saw an article saying ‘Sussex’s snubbed as no one wants to listen to their podcast’. That must be a blow. Wow, no one. Even people who talk about what they eat for breakfast get more viewers. I hate to say this, but a Sussex podcast sounds like complete death.
Next! Why isn’t it dark to call a band ‘The Killers’, but it is dark calling a band ‘The Murderers'? What’s the difference?? Next! The hand cleanser at my local kebab place smells exactly like super strong beer ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’. I better not have been drinking expensive soap on my birthday or I’ll be really mad. >:( Next! There’s a game out there called ‘Xenocider’. As far as I’m aware that means ‘Foreign Cider’. BUT IT’S A SHOOT ‘EM UP!!! What have alcoholic drinks from other countries got to do with saving the world? MAYBE if the enemies are drunk they’re easier to kill? But surely shooting them is easier than forcing them drinks AND killing them? Perhaps it’s for the best if I stick to music reviews. Next! You hear of people detonating newly found WW2 bombs, but never misplaced nukes. (Or ‘broken arrows’, for those in the know). We’re missing out on a spectacle. (As long as the thermonuclear weapons are kept away from civilisation - I’m not a maniac!)
Next!: I’ve just eaten ‘flamin’ hot flavour crisps’, but since when has hot been a flavour? Is pain a flavour? Is being in the sun a flavour? No! Next! Grapefruit? As opposed to what? Grape vegetable? Grape meat? Or Grapebrick? Next! What’s the point of going to all the trouble of making dog chocolates? I’m fairy sure they just prefer meat. It’s like (very smart) dogs trying to design a special bone for people to chew on, and saying (or barking) ‘people will LOVE this’. A waste of time basically, just give me some pizza. Next! They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but when I was fifteen in a Spanish ( :O ) CD shop, I was thinking ‘should I buy Hammerfall or Sepultura?’ I hadn’t heard of either (noob), but I liked the former cover better, so I bought it. EXCELLENT CD. I don’t like Sepultura quite so much, so in that case I should have judged a book (or CD) by its cover. Powned.
Next! I got a thank you message after giving a band a poor score again. That’s always awkward. It’s like someone saying ‘I’m so sorry if you didn’t like my music. My mother died recently, and I’ve been really down and didn’t have the energy to work on my music, like I used to. Please forgive me’. And then him giving me a smiley face. I’m just doing my job! Next! I saw a news headline saying ‘Undervalued nurses’ may quit over a mere 1% pay rise’. But look on the bright side - imagine if they got a 1% pay CUT. Ouch. Next! I’m very sad to say I dropped and lost some of my vitamin D tablets, meaning my experiment concerning whether they (naturally) run out on special events, must come to a close. Though as explained earlier, now I’m finding out whether my actions AND my tablets combined are psychic. Maybe they are! I think that’s all! Byeeeeee.
