Takeaway Day! (Blog 362)

I don’t think I’ve ever blogged about the times I get takeaways, which may seem strange as few days are so happy. Why could that be? The main reason is it’s a little hard to write about how much food I eat without coming across as a bit greedy. I maintain a healthy body weight, and that’s all that matters. (To me - others may disagree). In theory I should be morbidly obese, but I spend a lot of time at the gym and do a badass 1,000 calorie workout, or as the Romans would put it ‘M’, which I believe stands for ‘Mega! :O’. I must have huge muscles right? Not really, if anything I’ve just got skinner. I do however, have very ripped feet. And of course, I don’t have to write about how much takeaway I eat, how much I leave for leftovers, etc. Simple. Now let’s begin another diary as sadly nothing of interest has happened to me recently, and probably won’t for a while! Me writing about an adventure? Ha. :S

9:00: I’ve finished checking my emails etc. I think we’ve both had enough hearing about that.

10:00: I’ve finished chilling out on Youtube, let’s start making this blog! (Yes, the prior writing was written later than you probably expected! Trippy!) I have music on in the background. Usually music distracts me from working, but as I’m just jotting ideas down and not concentrating too hard, I’m fine. Proof reading and listening to music is a no no for me. What music have I got in my CD player which holds a good three CDs at the same time? Papa Roach, Sepultura, and Statement. Yep, I’ve had the same music in my stereo for a long time now! A nice compliment for the first two bands. However, one of the reasons I still have the latter group in my player is because the CD case is cracked and it’s emotionally hard for me to put the album away. Seeing the cracks genuinely upsets me as explained not long ago.

10:40: I’ve finished spying on my dad to see what he’s up to. Nothing much, just walking the dogs. Now it’s back to writing. Well, proofreading. I like to mix things up a little!

10:45: There’s no shame about drinking water, so let’s write about that. It just tastes of nothing. Or does it? Actually water DOES have a taste, it tastes of minerals I believe. I watched someone on TV drinking something with no taste whatsoever, (maybe it was super purified water or something, it was a while ago) and apparently it was a fairly bad experience. I wish I knew why. Maybe minerals boost your mood? I like to think I boost the moods of minerals too. Go minerals, you rock! Would that boost their moods? Maybe only if I meant it which I obviously don’t.

11:00: Now that the Papa Roach is done with, Statement is in my player! Next time I order a CD from Amazon or am kindly gifted one by a fab record label, I think I’ll leave a note on my front door saying ‘Please leave packages by the door! >:(‘, so they don’t get posted through the letter box. No really. The angry face I’m not so sure about, but who knows? Maybe. What I do know is that I mean it.

11:05: No time like the present, let’s sort out the emails for the Metal Rules site. It’s really boring. There’s 62 to get through? Let’s time how long it takes!

11:08: I took a very short break to spy on my dad again. He’s back with the dogs. Now I have 55 emails to get through!

11:23: Emails sorted! Sadly I didn’t star any emails as important, as you get a neat animation of stars appearing, then fading away when doing so. It’s the little things in life, isn’t it? I did however, delete a few emails because they were repeated. Did it give me a sense of power? Maybe a little. Not a lot, but yeah, maybe just a bit! Maybe satisfaction is a better word.

11:35: I have no idea what to write about, so let’s take a short Youtube break.

11:37: Back to work! Well back to trying.

11:38: I’ve poured another cup of water! Its minerals will be at least slightly appreciated!

11:41: Wow, the sun is really starting to come out now as I type in my bedroom. Not to worry, suntan lotion for the back of my neck is immediately available! Let’s hope it’s as good at blocking the sun as it is as rinsing away ‘permanent marker’ in seconds. Potent stuff that should be respected.

12:00: Now Sepultura is in my player! I have to say the drummer is a much better musician than the guitarist. The latter really does like power chords. Sadly such chords only contain 2 notes. He really likes atonality, too. Whilst it’s true some atonal music does require theory, in this case not so much. I’ve literally just realised this diary has mentioned takeaways very little. Not to worry, I’ll get back to that later. I hope.

12:30: Sorry, I browsed more Youtube videos, one thing led to another and I lost track of time. Now I’ll get back to writing. Thing is, nothing to say. :(

12:31: The Sep album will be over soon. What goes in my stereo next and what gets taken out of it? Tough choices, tough times. You know what? I don’t know. I’ll think about it later.

12:35: It’s just started pouring with rain. That really came out of nowhere. About a penny’s worth of sun cream has been wasted or at least it never saw its full potential. Not a huge deal, but my neck smells a just a bit girly. That will be hard to explain to the more macho people at the gym.

13:00: I’ve just noticed it’s not raining anymore and the sun is coming out again. Yes! My neck doesn’t smell of lady’s hairspray for next to no reason. Really there should be a sun cream product aimed solely at men, though. Just put put a little bit of petrol in it or something. That’s a manly smell, if highly flammable. ‘Shredworx’ by Rob Johnson is now in my player. Try finding THAT album! Makes me feel special.

13:22: Let’s take a short break and watch Einstein explain his theory of relativity on Youtube.

13:25: Not completely sure I understood the video. I get the mass and energy being the same thing though. At least I think I do. I’m not saying I suspected that all along, I’m just saying I take the guy’s word for it.

13:45: My mind has wandered on Youtube again. Do people really live in Detroit? It looks rubbish. (I wasn’t being random, I watched a video about the city. Without that explanation? Could have come across as weird. Never underestimate the power of a blog’s 2nd draft).

13:47: Oh yes, here’s an interesting story: One of my reviews I did for Metal Rules was quoted by the band. The exact quote was ‘Strongly recommended!’ I should have said it was ‘Strongly recommendipoos.’ Try quoting that.

14:05: I’ve watched some adverts on TV. That is basically all. God know’s what I’m going to write about now.

14:15: I Haven’t watched anything. Hasn’t helped with my creativity.

14:25: Hasn’t helped at all. I’m still listening to Rob and his obscure (mostly unwanted) album. I like it though. :)

14:40: CD over! The music will be unloved again for the time being. Very sad.

15:00: Right! That’s enough blogging for now! There were highs and lows, but now’s the time to warm my leg joints up as I watch more Youtube! Then I’ll be going to the gym! Bye!

15:30: Time to leave for the gym!

18:30: Back from the gym and had my bath. I wasn’t really expecting the gym session to be very interesting and it wasn’t BUT remember that game I play on the electronic hiking machine? The one where I do some exercise, take a break and look at the computerised graph of my working out to see whether the image begins curved or straight? (A straight line pointing upwards ‘shows’ faster acceleration from me and a curved one pointing upwards-ish suggests slower. Actually it seems to be random). Well, I took 10 breaks on the first session and the display was a shape palindrome! That almost never happens. I can’t remember exactly what it was, but it was something like straight, curved, straight, curved, curved, curved, curved, straight, curved, straight. I did a shorter session with 5 breaks and that was no palindrome, but my next shorter session was. Super cool. And it’s a deep game too. There are a fair number of rules when it comes to deciding whether something is a truly straight or curved line, but that’s for another time. Exciting stuff. Well I hope it was, that was one difficult paragraph to write. Was it worth it? Please say yes. I tried my best, got angry then gave up.

19:00: Food ordered by phone. Not interesting for you I’m sure, but the day for me is only getting more exciting!

19:15: I left to pick the food up. I would also buy a beer and a small chocolate biscuit!

19:40: Let’s get eatin’. I did so as I watched the last few minutes of brutal children’s film ‘Matilda’ and the whole of some Jim Carey film. Ah, it’s called ‘Yes Man’. I missed the first few minutes because the food was being enjoyed, but the rest of the movie? Not bad! Was it as good as seeing a middle aged teacher being beaten up by a group of kids, some of which could fly? Not sure!

20:15: All eaten, but the memories will last a lifetime.

21:50: Film finished! Moral of the story? Don’t say ‘yes’ to everything. But if you do? Might be funny!

21:51: More random TV, etc. Compared to the food? Just not quite the same level. :(

22:30: Beddybies! Bye!
