Ultimate Facebook Contest Post 4 (Blog 332)

Ok, another 15 Facebook contests have gone by, and another 15 homemade comments on the winner’s videos have gone by, too. Now’s the time to list my past mini observations, here! Again, of course my competitions aren’t true contests in that you can’t lose in them because there’s only ever one entrant (apart from in my 50th contest which was very special). I have to admit I put next to no effort into my comments as only 1 or 2 people on the social media site read them if that, but now that’s come back to bite me. I’m not looking forward to writing this article because yeah, it might be rubbish. So it’s time to get my act together and try my very hardest, now! Also, it could appear like I’m obsessed with Matt Jones, but as explained earlier, it’s just easier to keep contacting him rather than finding and messaging people I don’t know. Let’s go!

In my personal contest 47 notes I wrote ages ago now and stored on my computer, I put ‘Same as 2nd place contest 43’. If you don’t know what that means, I was confused at first when reading it just now, too. Then I remembered. So, as I couldn’t be bothered to look for a new act to write about way back in contest 47, I instead wrote about 2nd place (duh) of an older contest instead. So here are the runner-up’s scores again.

Originality: 4.5 - A baby football hooligan punching a man. Can’t say I’ve heard of that idea, before…

Acting: 4.25 - Well acted, too. Can’t really complain, there. Not realistic, but that’s not the point.

Funniness: 4.25 - I think babies punching people is pretty funny…

Production: 3 - Ah. A little on the raw side.

Effort: 3.5 - Come on. You can do better than that…

Overall: 3.9 - But you still win! Very close!

Having just checked out the comments section on Youtube, there is someone else who says the sketch is ‘fairly accurate’!
